I forgot her name but she was amazing and very helpful with the menu.she refilled my soda about 3xs with no hesitation and so friendly. Next time ill definitely be bringing my family. “ Disclaimer: I like exceptionally spicy food. Stopped in today for a take out order: “glen fry” (spicy fried chicken sandwich) with fries. They offered a variety of sauces, I ordered jalapeno ranch and curried ketchup. The meal was delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly, large portion of meat, not spicy but the essence is there. Served on a nice soft bun. Fries were cooked properly and seasoned well. The sauces were good, fairly unique, not burning hot but I could definitely tell there was some spice there. For 15 bucks, this is a damn good meal. I’ll be a repeat customer. ”

“ Four of us came in town for the Portland Sportsman Show and we were looking for something casual and close the night before, as it was snowing and getting icy on the roads. After a Google search we came across JayBee’s Chicken Palace....and sooooo glad we did! Due to the weather condition it wasn’t that busy. We sat ourselves and within a minute our server (Robert) was there to greet us and take our drink order. First off Robert made our night! He was friendly, polite, engaging and was just overall great! Robert took our dinner order and we had the Chicken Tendies, Chicken of the Sea, and the Hawaiian Chicken Sliders (the wives shared this), along with an order of onion rings and french fries. Food came out promptly and all four of devoured this delicious comfort food. The taste was amazing! Even the onion rings and fries tasted great! Maybe they just changed the oil they deep fry in, but either way...IT WAS GREAT! My only regret is I didn’t take any pictures to share. This is a must try when in town, or even if you live nearby. If you do ask for Robert! There’s even an adjacent bar Nextdoor but we did not go in. ”

“ We lived right by this place for a few months when we first arrived in Portland last year. It is conveniently right off the freeway, but we avoided it because of the iffy reviews. However, after trying several other restaurants that also had iffy reviews and liking them, we gave this place a chance. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. Now JayBees’s is in our regular rotation and is always tasty. The chili nachos are satiating, yet when we finish them, it doesn’t seem like you’ve had a plate of goopy nachos, but instead a fresh and light tostada....we are surprised every time. The burgers are delightful and the chicken is great in all forms. ”
